KARAGUL AND IMBER SIGN

Wingate & Finchley have signed Murat Karagul and Noel Imber, with both set to make their debut at Waltham Abbey on Saturday.

Karagul has been a revelation in Ware’s attack this season and will bring competition to The Blues strong forward line.

The 22 year old is already used to scoring at The Harry Abraham Stadium having netted the second goal in Wingate’s defeat to Ware last month.

Goalkeeper Imber has significant Ryman League experience having made over 350 appearances with Borehamwood.

With Gavin King out for the season and Bobby Smith suspended, David Norman has swooped quickly to get Imber signed for the crucial game at The Capershotts.

KING OUT FOR SEASON

Gavin King is likely to miss the remainder of the season.

King broke his hand in the warm up before the Ryman League Cup match against Met Police.

King has been a virtual ever present in recent seasons at The Abrahams Stadium.

With Bobby Smith serving a suspension, the club are currently in talks with an experienced Goalkeeper to come in for Saturdays visit to Waltham Abbey

EDGERLEY AND CHASE SEEK TEMPORARY CHANGE

James Edgerley has signed for fellow Ryman League Division 1 North side Potters Bar Town on a short term basis.

James played his 50th game for the club in the Ryman League Cup win at Harrow in midweek and ironically scored his debut goal for the club against Potters Bar in 2009/10 season.

Meanwhile, Chris Chase has dual registered for Northwood on a temporary basis.

Chase has also struggled to hold down a regular place in the Wingate side this season since his spectacular hat trick against Kingsbury Tigers in November
