The Wingate & Finchley team is much bigger than 11 men on the pitch. Our Professional Club Operation could not function without our committed volunteer workforce. There are a range of areas that you can get involved, with roles to suit your time commitment. In return, we can offer various benefits, training and the opportunity to be part of a friendly team and make a difference in the local community.

Matchday Staff

Role: Gate Steward

Brief Summary: To be responsible for taking gate money on first team matchdays. Must have good basic numerical skills and be a reliable, well presented individual with respect for confidentiality

Role: Stadium Stewards

Brief Summary: To be responsible for ensuring stadium safety procedures are adhered to and assist with general stewarding duties on first team matchdays

Stadium Safety Officer

A Stadium Safety Officer is sought to oversee all health and safety procedures at The Harry Abrahams Stadium. A general interest in health and safety would be advantageous in addition to knowledge of current health and safety legislation applicable to sports stadium and event management.
