DISABILITY LEAGUE SUCCESS

Wingate and Finchley’s debut in the STEP disability league ended with success as the ‘A’ team were crowned champions on Sunday afternoon. They were narrowly denied a remarkable double, losing out on goal difference in the final of the cup competition.

The campaign has been a credit to the players, staff and volunteers from the club and Barnet Mencap who continue to work tirelessly to provide sporting opportunities for all. Wingate & Finchley will be entering three teams in the STEP league next season, with a view to continuing the good work laid down over the last few months.”
