Narrow defeat for Blues at the hands of clinical Ambers
By Aaron Toubian A hugely eventful first 45 minutes at Summers Lane saw a struggling Wingate & Finchley fall to a 3-2 defeat, at the hands of a clinical Cheshunt team. The visitors got off to the perfect start, as Connor Kurran-Browne fired in a crisp half-volley, after the ball fell perfectly into his path. It is with profound sadness that the club announces the passing of Life Vice-President David Wolff, on the evening of Tuesday 3rd February 2026. A respected and loved figure at the Club, he had a calming influence and was ever-present at matches until his health declined in recent years.
