2017/18 Presentation Evening

Wingate & Finchley held their 2017/18 Presentation Evening for the senior teams after the final home game of the season; on Saturday afternoon following the 2-0 victory over Dorking Wanderers.

Goalkeeper Shane Gore followed on from last year’s feat by picking up another two awards (from the Directors and his fellow players), whilst top scorer Rob Laney picked up the Supporters’ award for the second time. Peter Rebak, celebrating his 50th year with the club, presented Jake Eales with the Young Player of the year award, and Manager Keith Rowland chose Reece Beckles-Richards as his Player of the season. Martin Addison, official club photographer for over ten years, picked up the Club Person of the year award.

Two Under 23 award winners, Luke Alfano and Isaac Ebelebe, had earlier won the joint Man of the Match award in the victory over Dorking; the latter having notched his first club goal too. The other trophies went to Reuben Rabstein, Ned Clarke and top scorer Ben Pattie.
