Adam Bolle Signs

Wingate & Finchley's Director of Football David Norman is please to announce the recent signing of striker Adam Bolle. Norman has been tracking Bolle's progress for 18 months, and Adam's impressive displays have led to Norman putting in a 7-days-notice of approach for the young centre-forward after scoring 23 goals in 26 games so far this season for Hoddeston FC in the Spartan Midland Premier Division. Norman believes Adam has the qualities to make the grade: "Adam has proven that he has the ability to score goals at the level he was playing at, and although there is a significant difference in the levels between the Spartan Midland Premier and Ryman Premier, I believe he has the raw ability to make the step up." He continued "Adam is big, strong and hardworking and certainly knows where the goal is. He has a great attitude which is rare in young players today. He has shown in the last two seasons that he has an eye for goal. We know it will be difficult for Adam making the transition, but given time, his quality will come through." Bolle made his debut for Wingate some 15 years after leading the Blues out as a 7 year old Mascot when his father Jon was a first team regular. He did not take long to settle, scoring on his debut with the only goal in a 1-0 win over Hendon on Boxing Day. Norman was "...very pleased with not only Adam's goal but the work ethic and all round play. Adam has added a new dimension to the side which will only improve us as a team."
