Awards Night

Wingate & Finchley held the end of season awards night for 2014/15 on Sunday. On an emotional night where we said goodbye to both David Norman and Mike Bayly, there was plenty of success to celebrate - on the back of a club record league finish and the Under 18's reaching their first ever county cup final. Harvey Ackerman completed 20 years of service and picked up the Club Person of the Year award, whilst Testimonials were announced next year for Ahmet Rifat and Daniel Nielsen. Rifat has now completed 10 years of playing for the club, and Nielsen 14 years in two separate spells. Marc Weatherstone, currently in his 9th year of service, shall also be honoured with his own testimonial the season afterwards.
