Cup removal

The Club can report that we have been removed from this year's Ryman League Cup along with other clubs. Four clubs failed to follow a league rule, which details that clubs are required to specifically notify the Ryman league that a loan signing has permission to play in the league cup even if they are already eligible for league games. Freddy Moncur, according to the current rules, therefore should not have played against Harrow Borough - there is no suggestion that he has been ineligible for any other match. Although we feel the sentence is extremely harsh and the relevant rules appear confusing and conflicting, the club accepts the punishment and looks forward to competing again in 2017/18.
