FA Youth Cup

After a hard-fought 2-1 win at Haringey Borough in the previous round, Wingate & Finchley U18’s will host Uxbridge U18’s in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup on Thursday night 20th September. Goals from Shakur Farah and Ruben Carvalho gave the hosts a two goal lead at the Coles Park Stadium and, despite a consolation goal, the Blues were able to secure progression to this round of the tournament. Last season, the Blues were eliminated from the competition by Barnet FC U18’s, who ran out 4-0 winners at The Hive.
