We are sorry to hear of the passing of the Wingate FC legend Harvey Peters who has passed away aged 84. He was an outstanding former player who played at centre half and captained Wingate in the 1960s, represented England at amateur level and won a football gold medal for Maccabi GB in 1961. Wishing all his family deepest condolences.
