The Club's first team and youth squads join an army of 'Max's Marvels' in honour of Max Schiller, who tragically passed away aged just 10. Max was a local boy and a keen footballer/fan who lived in N12, where his family still reside. Partnering with such a worthwhile cause as well as with such close neighbours is a really special initiative for the Club. Max's Foundation funds research into the screening, detection, treatment and support of genetic heart conditions in children.
Founders Shira, Dave and Molly Schiller have said "we are so happy to be part of such a well respected, community organisation with so much history and such a strong heritage. Having access to a platform like Wingate & Finchley FC will bring Max's Foundation key exposure in our mission to help raise awareness and gain support."
Together, Wingate & Finchley FC and Max's Foundation have 'Hearts Set on Change' and look forward to a successful season on and off the pitch.
