New Wingate and Finchley Director of Football, Simon Lane, is pleased to confirm that Daniel Nielsen has agreed to assist him as First Team Coach for the forthcoming season. The new boss said "I'm delighted that Danny has agreed to stay. I did my research as usual, and during discussions it quickly became apparent that we have similar philosophies and I think we will provide the right coaching culture and learning environment for our players to progress." This completes a superb week on a personal level for Nielsen, who was awarded with a Testimonial season at last Sunday's Awards Night for his incredible longevity of loyal service to the Blues.
