One In and A Bunch Committed

Director of Football Simon Lane is delighted to confirm the signing of Hanwell Town hotshot Billy Healey. Healey has been prolific over the last couple of seasons - scoring 55 in 53 games in 2013/14*, forming a devastating partnership with our own Rob Laney that year. The gaffer said "I think Billy is more than ready for this level and without putting pressure on him, goals are his business and I think he'll really enjoy playing for us." Lane was keen to stress the importance of another local signing: "Billy is a Finchley lad with a strong family connection here and it's exactly what we want, the best local players turning out here for our fans to get behind and relate to." Of the existing squad, a whole raft of players have committed to the club for next season after discussions with new gaffer. They include; Ahmet Rifat, Tommy Tejan-Sie, Marc Weatherstone, Brad Hewitt, Mark Goodman, Karl Oliyide, Bobby Smith, Rob Laney, Orlando Joao, Ola Sogbanmu, Harrison Georgiou, Joe Sharpe, Jack Read, Jack Metcalfe and Gavin Suddell who have all signed on the dotted line. The new boss is understandably delighted "I consider this to be an outstanding result for the club - and credit must go to all concerned. I felt keeping this young squad together was essential for the future and now we have a firm platform to do our work on the training field and look to improve things further if we can." * Goals credit http://www.aylesburyunitedfc.co.uk/
