Pay What You Want This Saturday

Here is a reminder that the Club will be holding our annual Community Day at home to promotion chasing AFC Hornchurch on Saturday 29th March. The event is a fundraiser for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice based in Barnet - Noah's Ark Children's Hospice provides practical and emotional support to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families, within the communities of North London. In addition to a ‘pay what you want’ entry incentive on the day, a number of additional activities have been planned, including kids' coaching, penalty shootout competitions and a special fundraising raffle. As Community Manager Mike Bayly advised, the Blues are going to extra lengths to attract supporters on the day: “We’ve held open days for the last few seasons and this time wanted to focus on a truly local cause, involving local people. The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a very important local organisation and one we are proud to raise money for. We have sent out 10,000 fliers to local homes and businesses in the lead up to the event in the hope of maximising attendance and fundraising opportunities. We’ve run a pay what you want incentive on previous occasions and it’s proved really popular. Hopefully we can replicate this popularity again.” .
