Director of Football David Norman has confirmed Wingate & Finchley's intentions for next season by signing Northwood FC's young prolific striker Nico Muir. Muir scored 29 times in all competitions for Northwood last season, and Norman commented "Nico is a talented striker who has a natural ability to score goals." Muir, a former school student of Norman's, stated "I am looking forward to joining Wingate & Finchley as they play very good football and have great facilities. Hopefully I can help them achieve success next season." Muir adds to a Wingate and Finchley squad which is currently unchanged from last season's.
