Close Joins On Loan

Lee Close, one of Boreham Wood's PASE graduates, has joined on loan initially for a month. The full-back who is an England Schoolboy International, has started four 1st team games this season in the Conference South, and featured in another 5 games this term as a playing substitute. Wood manager Ian Allinson said “Lee has featured heavily in my 1st team squads all season. He has played his part in the club's good start, and in fact Lee’s performances at St Neots in our FA win and in our 0-0 draw at Bath meant he was a little unfortunate to lose his starting place."
