Dave Norman's view

Speaking on the hard-fought 2-1 victory at Thurrock on Saturday, manager David Norman was very pleased with the performance: "Thurrock is a very difficult place to come to, they are a club with a good pedigree having come down from the Conference South. I thought our midfield was superb throughout the match, and up front Leon Smith once again proved that he is lethal in front of goal and could have scored three or four if it hadn't have been for some great goalkeeping. Overall we defended with resilience and played sensibly in the right areas. We now need to remain focused and concentrate on the FA Cup game."
