Sam Berry - An Introduction

We are pleased to announce that Sam Berry has joined on loan from Billericay Town, the side promoted as champions from our division last season. The 26 year old has some high profile clubs in his CV, including Peterborough and Stevenage Borough, and local rivals Hendon. Berry made his debut on Saturday in the season opener with Canvey Island. He plays in midfield, either to the right or through the centre, and his trademark crossing, set pieces and long throws will be a huge asset to the side. He said: "I have played against Wingate many times and know all about the club and know Dave [Norman] well. Playing on such a great pitch always helps and I am really glad to have joined."
